Connecting Point Expands On-Site Service Staff
“We love the Mac”, says new partner Justin Gawith
March 8, 2010
With the growing popularity of Apple computers, Connecting Point – the only Certified “Apple Specialist” in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee – has expanded its service capabilities with new partner Justin Gawith.
“I’ll go out to your house or office,” says Justin, “and install a wifi network or repair your Apple hardware right there. We’ll get to you in 24 hours and will give you a cost estimate before we do the work.”
Computer owners can contact Justin by phone (843-314-4178) or by submitting a service request through the web site (www.ConnectingPnt.com) or at the Myrtle Beach or Murrells Inlet stores.
“The most common calls,” says Justin, an Apple-Certified Help Desk Specialist, “are from people who need help setting up an in-home network. With the larger homes we have in this area, sometimes a basic wifi router doesn’t offer coverage everywhere the user wants to use his or her computer. Then, there are the calls from a user who’s spilled something on his keyboard -- or worse -- into the computer.”
“Like many computer people, I got my start on mainframes, then moved to PCs,” says Justin. “Then about six years ago, I moved to Macs. The whole basis of Connecting Point’s store is we love the Mac”.
“No longer is it only advertising agencies and graphic design firms that have realized the benefits of Macintosh computers,” says Connecting Point Founder Robert Jayroe. “People of all interests and all ages are realizing that Macs are easy to learn, easier to use and easier to keep free from viruses than a PC.”
To schedule an on-site visit, you can contact Connecting Point at 843-314-4178 or visit one of the stores: 3350 Phillis Boulevard (Market Commons), Myrtle Beach or 5341 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet.
Connecting Point is the Grand Strand’s only certified “Apple Specialist” offering a complete selection of Apple desktops, laptops, iPods, Apple TV, software and accessories. As an Apple “Authorized Service Provider”, Connecting Point can service and repair MacIntosh computers whether they are in warranty, out-of-warranty or covered by AppleCare.
